Dissertation
I decided to write my dissertation on 'Fashion E-tailing Vs Fashion Retailing.'

I used a mixture of primary and secondary data thought my dissertation and I also included a case study on a book I read over the summer; Boo Hoo: A dot.com story. I enjoyed writing this dissertation as I found the subject very interesting. I love to shop and I love fashion therefore I found this was a relevant and interesting subject to me. I enjoyed finding out other peoples thoughts on Internet shopping and which type of shopping they preferred.

Overall I feel the final piece analysed the subject matter very well and produced a well rounded result.

Lastminute.com - Turning the World Pink
D&AD an educational charity that represents the global creative, design and advertising communities. - Advertisement campaign which creates awareness lastminute.com

To create awareness of lastminute.com I intend to produce a new, innovative way of promoting the company that will attract attention and be recognised globally. I wanted to create a series of statues which are associated with different types of holidays; as this is the main selling attraction of lastminute.com; short breaks and holidays. All of the statues are magenta in colour and have the strap line ‘live every lastminute.com’ imprinted/embossed onto them. The statues would be placed randomly around cities, in airports and train stations.

I produced four examples of the lastminute.com statues which can be viewed in the image above.
Virtual Teacher - New Technological Device
This project was a double module, which involved creating a new technological device which could potentially be made in five year time. The concept I came up with was something called 'The Virtual Teacher'.
The Virtual Teacher is my new and exciting device formed from cutting edge virtual technology, people can learn whatever they want whenever and wherever they are.

Built on an extensive research portfolio, which delves into depths of all different kinds of virtual technology, the Virtual Teacher takes the form of trendy sunglasses incorporating the latest form LCD virtual screen projection, with interactive tools and voice activated controls.
